Happy Full Moon in Scorpio

I hope everyone is doing well and that life has been treating you kindly. It's been a rough past week, and I'm guessing it's at least in part due to energetics. We had the full moon in Scorpio at the beginning of the week, and then there was also the quadruple solar flare, so there were intense, heightened energies from both the sun and moon. I'm guessing that played a large part in why sleep has been such a challenge for me the past week; no matter how much I wanted or needed sleep, it did not want to cooperate very well. It was rather disappointing and saddening, but there wasn't much I could do about it. I hope you all fared much better and were able to get the sleep you needed. If you are curious about the recent full moon and wish to learn more, feel free to check out the following videos:

Not sure if it's due to the recent full moon or what, but sleep has been pretty awful. I didn't sleep well most nights, leading to me struggling to fall asleep and stay asleep. I was quite tired when waking up on Monday and Tuesday morning, but especially on Wednesday (so much so that I attempted a nap for 4.5 hours yet still was unable to sleep), and dream recall was a complete blur. Sleep was slightly better Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Still was a bit challenging but not nearly as much. Dream recall was still rather fuzzy, but I could remember bits and pieces. I think there was something about a baby dragon at one point. There was a young kid that wandered off in the dream, and I found them playing in a field of clovers and flowers. I think there was something about vampires at one point, too. That's all I could remember once awake, though.

Sleep was okayish Thursday night into Friday, but I still woke up pretty tired and was tempted to fall back asleep. Dream recall was really hazy, too. The struggle continued Friday night into Saturday; my mom sprung this last minute task on me at like 11pm at night and wanted me to make this card for my little cousin's party the next day. I did make it, but there was a dot marker explosion and ink got everywhere. Such a mess. My cat tried to get into it, too. Took a lot longer than anticipated to create it, and then I woke up and couldn't fall back to sleep, leaving me with only 5 hours of sleep. Wasn't fun. Sleep was somewhat similar Saturday night into this morning, but I think I got like 6 hours of sleep this time around. Dream recall was pretty hazy, but there was something about a park I think and travel. I think I was supposed to be meeting up with someone. There might have been something about school, too. Details were pretty elusive, though; that's all I could remember once awake.

The boys were discussing Bluey with me (as there was that huge special recently) and then he started telling me what would happen "if I ever went to Australia." Apparently, as soon as I get off the plane and step foot in Australia, all of the dangerous creatures are going to mob me much like those hoard battles in Pokémon. Just instantaneously, they're all gonna hone in on me and single me out, causing me to be extra dead. He was listing all of the dangerous animals that would be coming for me, including sharks. Then he mentioned that I could come across sea turtles, which are gentle, so I'd be safe there, but otherwise, I'd be very extra dead 🤣 It's great that they feel comfortable telling me such things (because I find such conversations very amusing). They're definitely getting fed up with school, but thankfully, they only have about a month left until summer break.

Tsuki was her typical adorable and goofy self. She enjoyed plenty of cozy cat naps, lounging on her favorite chair and the back of the couch, snuggling, birdwatching from her window shelf, hanging out on the porch when it wasn't pouring rain, and getting into all sorts of antics. She definitely keeps things lively and interesting. Life would not be the same without her.

Artwork for the week included more diamond art and a birthday card for my little cousin:

Based off conversations I've been having with people, it seems like things are getting more and more chaotic, dramatic, and complicated; I've been hearing about so much family/friend/work/life drama from people and have been experiencing some of my own. The weather has been intense, going from extremes in terms of temperature, and there have been crazy storms. Kind of feels like a lot of things are coming to a boil. As such, remember to be gentle with yourself and show yourself some kindness and compassion; you're doing the best you can, and as a human, there's only so much you can feasibly do on your own. It's okay to take breaks, and it's okay to get help and support. It's okay to take things one step at a time and to go at your own pace. Your timing and journey don't have to look like anyone else's. Do what's best for you. Live a life you find worthwhile and one that you find satisfying. You matter, and the world is a better place with you in it, so please take care of yourself. Wishing you all a wonderful rest of your weekend!
