It's been quite a week. I am excited for spring break as I will get to spend a lot more time with my friends; I'll be pet sitting Cricket and Clyde again, which means plenty of hangout time with April and Corliss. Hoping sleep won't be too elusive because it's hard to operate when tired and completely drained. It will be lots of fun, though--that much I know for sure! I'm only supposed to be hanging out a few days with the boys I babysit/tutor, too, so it'll be nice to see lots of my favorite people.
I was super tempted to stay snuggled in bed and go back to sleep Monday morning. It was super cold, and I hadn't slept all that well. My dream recall was veiled in a haze, and I wasn't able to remember what happened, either. It was incredibly cold again Tuesday morning, and paired with the fact that I had struggled falling asleep again, the temptation to stay snuggled in bed and go back to sleep was quite string. My dream recall was pretty hazy, but I remember there being so many beads and ribbons for some reason.
It was another super cold day on Wednesday, and I was so tempted to go back to sleep. I had slept somewhat better, but I was still quite tired. My dream recall was still super fuzzy. There might have been something about travel and helping people, but specific details were elusive. I was still quite tired when I woke up Thursday morning, but I least I had sleeping in to look forward to Friday morning. My dream recall wasn't really any clearer, either, but there was something about fabric going on.
It was a bit of a challenge waking up Friday morning, and I ended up falling back asleep. It was super cozy in bed, and I had been so tired. There was something about meeting up with people for a social gathering like a sporting event. Details were fuzzy, and I think there was some kind of jersey involved. It seemed like I ended up kidnapped with 3 other people. We were in like a parking lot/junkyard basically being held hostage. There was a group of like 3 or 4 men with guns. They would point the guns at us, essentially telling us not to make them shoot. At a certain point the men seemed fed up and decided to blow the place up. Something about 10 minutes left. They did choose to give us the opportunity to flee before they blew the place up. As I was entering the car the small group was using to flee, the quietest man came up and started giving us things like unopened bottles of juice and coffee. More might have happened, but that's all I could remember.
It was a bit of a struggle sleeping Friday night, but I was able to get a somewhat decent amount of sleep. The dogs did wake me up a bit with how they are (i.e. whining and wanting to bark at things). My dream recall was pretty fuzzy when I woke up on Saturday morning, but it felt like a lot happened. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get any sleep Saturday night, no matter how hard I tried. Not sure about the specifics, but it was definitely energy related; I talked to multiple people, and they all struggled with sleeping. It's strange.
The boys were excited for the 4-day week and the start of spring break. They're so excited for the time off, and with how hard they've been working, they definitely deserve it. They were being their normal quirky selves, and it was a lot of fun this week. The younger of the two was coming up with all sorts of stories (something about me needing to face my judgment and contracts with ancestors). He ended up playing some One Piece Roblox game and was telling me all about the lore, emphasizing how I "had" to watch One Piece and how the animation was phenomenal. He also decided that he had a bunny named Clyde that is vicious but adorable (since I had misheard him one day, hearing "bunny" when he was making up some story about how people didn't know how much he needed the money).
Tsuki was her normal, goofy, adorable self. She's always so full of antics and shenanigans, but then she'll turn around and be so cute and snuggly. It was pretty cold this week, although there were short bursts of warmth, so Tsuki enjoyed snuggling and the sunshine. She enjoyed playing with paper packaging, birdwatching, as well as trying to steal food. Tsuki had a blast playing with all her toys, jumping onto my back when I was trying to make tie-dye shirts, watching me make paper beads, and chilling inside of her box. She's an amazing cat to have, and I love snuggling with her (when she allows it).

This weekend has been a lot! The plan was to chill and have fun with my friends, which we did do, but it basically turned into an energetic purging/therapy session. We've been diving deep into traumas, coming to realizations, doing energy healings, etc. It's gotten quite intense, and it was not the weekend I anticipated. All the same, I wouldn't trade it; I've gotten to spend so much quality time with my besties, and while there have been tears, frustration, and the like, there's been so much laughter and joy, too. I adore these soul sisters with all that I am, and I'm super luck to have met them! Embrace the unexpected, as there can be hidden gems just waiting for you to find them!
