The Heart Aches from All the Darkness

I hope everyone is doing well and that life is treating you kindly! Lately, there's intensity in the air, a kind of turbulence that's hard to ignore. It feels like the veil is a little thinner, and the spiritual world is making itself known in some very tangible ways. We're seeing so much of it in the news and in our everyday lives, with an overwhelming amount of people choosing hate, division, and anger instead of love, compassion, peace, and understanding. It can feel like the darkness is acting up big time, trying to pull us into its chaos.

The news of Charlie Kirk's tragic murder is a devastating reminder of the escalating violence and hateful division in our country and the wider world. His life was taken in an act of senseless hate, and it's a testament to the fact that violence is never the answer, regardless of affiliation or belief. It's a profound loss for his family, who witnessed this horrific event, and our hearts go out to them. No family should ever have to endure such pain, and no one should have to be on the receiving end of such atrocious behavior.

This tragedy should serve as a wake-up call, urging us all to reject the rhetoric of division and anger that fuels such actions. It is crucial that we come together to condemn political violence in all its forms and work toward a more civil and compassionate society. We must honor Charlie Kirk's memory by choosing understanding over hatred, and by recommitting ourselves to the values of civility and respect.

But you know, this isn't a sign that the light is losing. It's often when we're on the brink of a major breakthrough—when we're about to step into a new level of personal growth or collective consciousness—that the darkness gets a little desperate. It's like a final, frantic lashing out before it's overcome by the light. So, instead of feeling discouraged, we can see this as a call to action. It's a reminder to double down on our own light, to choose love even when it's hard, and to be a beacon of hope in a world that needs it more than ever.

Personally, the dark has been acting up big time in my life, engaging in all sorts of spiritual warfare. The dark wants to break us, to give up, to lose hope, to compromise our integrity, and to not choose love, light, peace, kindness, and compassion. The dark thinks it can distort the truth and take us off our path. You're allowed to feel whatever natural human emotions that are coming up, but know that the dark does not operate in truth--they deceive, they manipulate, they create illusions. The spiritual warfare is the dark's attempt to crush us, but we can use it for our growth and elevation. We don't have to listen and "buy what the dark is selling."

Tsuki has been feeling the intense energies, making sure to rest plenty. I honestly don't blame her because it's been a lot. She enjoyed plenty of cozy cat naps, birdwatching, lounging, relaxing, snuggling with her cat toys, and playful antics and shenanigans. I'm super grateful for her.

All this darkness can feel overwhelming, but remember that for every shadow, there is a light casting it. We don’t fight darkness with more darkness. We fight it by becoming even brighter beacons of light. This isn't about ignoring the pain or the division; it's about looking at it with open eyes and choosing a different path.

Your power lies in your ability to choose. You can choose to respond with patience, kindness, and understanding, even when others are lashing out. You can choose to be a safe space for others, a source of peace in the midst of chaos. The world doesn't need more people to match the anger; it needs more people to rise above it. So, shine your light brightly. Be the change you wish to see, and trust that your single act of love and courage can create ripples that transform the world. Please, take care of yourself, and have a wonderful rest of your weekend!
