I hope everyone is doing well and that the energies are treating you kindly! The energies have been feeling a bit volatile here lately; it's definitely been messing with mood and sleep. It's been a bit of a roller coaster in terms of having energy and motivation to do things; some days it feels super easy and others feels like so many things might as well be impossible, like you're hitting your head against a brick wall repeatedly but still expecting progress. It can be a lot, but I'm doing the best I can. Aside from the at times wonky energy, it was a fairly normal week. Although, some of the wonkiness could be due to the recent full moon in Virgo. If you want to learn more about this recent full moon, feel free to check out the following videos:
The rock show Corliss and I went to was a lot of fun. There were so many crystals/rocks, and they were so pretty and shiny. We had so much fun and were so excited to be surrounded by so many cool specimens. We hope to check out some more rock shows in the future.
Sleep and dream recall were kind of iffy for Sunday night/Monday morning. From what I could remember, the first part involved some kind of car trouble. These strange red lights kept appearing on the dashboard. Then it took place at a beach. Seemed to be kind of related to school somehow. I know there were a variety of great white sharks in the ocean that kept coming right up to the shore and basically kept invading the personal bubble when the tide brought the waves up close and personal. I had to keep shoving them away. I remember feeling sleepy and considering taking a nap while whoever I was with was thinking about taking off sunscreen. The dream seemed to transition to school, and I was working with the preschool staff again. Details got fuzzy, but the principal was basically taking advantage of me and using me, stringing me along. There was an ominous vibe to her saying that "we need to talk." More likely happened, but that's all I can remember.
Dream recall was a complete blur when I woke up Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday morning. I think things probably happened, but I had no idea what. Sometimes I wonder if I don't actually dream on these nights or if it just isn't considered important by my brain. Dream recall was fairly fuzzy when I woke up on Saturday, but I could remember a considerable amount more in comparison. The first thing I could recall was being at McDonald's for some reason with other people. It seemed like April and other people had started working there perhaps. I was supposed to hand out these cards--they were plastic and seemed sort of like insurance cards. Things got hazy, but we ended up wandering about the area and maybe just going for a walk? More happened, but the only other thing I could really remember was being at some kind of school. April was there again, but I couldn't tell who anyone else was. April was writing on the dry erase board with a red marker. I think she might have been writing clues to something but not sure what. Whatever was going on in the classroom seemed important, but details got too muddled to make out what things were.
Dream recall was kind of fuzzy when I woke up this morning. I think there was something about a school or meeting or something. Whatever it was seemed fairly important. I have to wonder if my recollection was so hazy due to lousy sleep quality. I woke up several times and struggled falling back asleep. Wasn't particularly fun, but it could be worse.
The boys were excited for a shorter school week thanks to the holiday. Their new porch got finished, too, and it looks quite nice. They seem to be a bit done with school, not really wanting to do all of the assignments but still going pretty strong. They also enjoyed chatting with me about stories from when my friends and I were in school, as the older brother happens to have one of our former teachers. They thought the stories were pretty hilarious and enjoyed hearing about my friends. It was a pretty good week, full of some ups and downs, but still pretty chill.
Tsuki was her typical adorable and chompy self. She enjoyed plenty of cozy cat naps, snuggling with my arm as a pillow, searching for bugs on the ceiling, relaxing in the sunshine on the porch, playing with boxes, sprawling out on her window shelf, lounging in her cat condo, attacking my legs, and being an all-around goof. One night she was just hanging out in the basement for whatever reason before trying to attack me while I was on the stairs. Tsuki's such an adorable goof and so loveable.
