Happy June!

I hope everyone is doing well and that life is treating you kindly! Summer break has started with turbulence, conflict, and intense storms. So many tornadoes have been popping into existence, wreaking havoc, on top of the seismic and volcanic activity elsewhere around the world. Then there's also the people component; so many people seem to have short fuses, with the tiniest thing setting off emotional explosions.
Seems like it's going to be a very active (or rather reactive), hot, and bumpy summer. Take time to tend to your want and needs, filling up your own cup and being intentional, purposeful, and selective with where your energy goes. Some things just are worth it and just end up being energy drains, so don't tell others yes if it's a major no for yourself. You deserve peace, joy, fun, love, and laughter, so make choices that allow them in.
It was a pretty normal week of taking the boys to their various activities and tending to their dogs. The boys enjoyed their normal discussions of anime, video games, movies, lore, and the like. The older brother was asking me about what my family had been up to and remarked that I was probably the only one that had any common sense out of them (shared the story about how they were trying to force a freaked out cat into trimming her claws and how it did not end well for them). Just trying to do my best and live a life of integrity, kindness, respect, care, and love.
Tsuki enjoyed a pretty chill week, as this week was full of rain. She was freaked out over the tornado sirens that were going off this week (tis the season, and all the storms have the tendency to develop into them); thankfully, nothing much happened here other than rain, wind, and some fallen branches. Otherwise, Tsuki enjoyed her normal birdwatching, lounging on her window shelf, playful antics and shenanigans, cozy cat naps, snuggling up in her cat house, and being a goof.

Life is urging us to get more mindful about what we say, what we do, what we think, and what we associate with. The old ways are crumbling, and the universe is nudging us towards growth, learning, and happier, healthier lives. Use your discernment as you navigate life; take inspired, aligned actions rather than trying to force things based off of expectations and "shoulds."
Keep an open heart and mind, but be selective to what you subscribe to, taking what resonates and leaving the rest. The universe uses anything and everything to communicate with us and work things out for our benefit, so even those you disagree with could have insights and messages to help you on your path. That doesn't mean you have to subscribe to everything that they say and believe, but bits and pieces could provide the seeds and nuggets to help you learn and grow, reaching your next level.
Sift through the information and noise to find what truly matters and walk away from the rest; you are meant for great things and deserve love, kindness, respect, support, joy, and fun. Keep moving forward, no matter how small your steps, and be gentle with yourself. It's okay to stumble and fall; just remember to tend to yourself, dust yourself off, and rise again. Take care and have a wonderful rest of your weekend!
