I hope everyone is doing well and staying cool! The beginning of the week brought a bit of rain, but as it's still summer, the heat has been intense. It's been rather uncomfortable and has made sleep much more challenging (as I keep waking up incredibly hot despite having two fans going--my body is quite particular about sleep, so that hasn't been fun). Hopefully, life has been kind and allowed you all quality rest! I do wonder if energies have impacted my sleep, too, as it's felt like I've been "yanked" out of sleep multiple times (and it sounds like my friends have been experiencing similar things). Regardless, here's hoping better sleep for everyone! Also, my friend's cat just had kittens, which is exciting!
The boys are enjoying the remnants of summer break. They enjoyed talking about new releases of toys (i.e. there's a Nightmare Before Christmas Lego set, and the oldest brother is so excited about it). They're excited to enjoy the lasts bits of summer break before going back to school next week. The boys are somewhat excited but reluctant about the new school year (and I get that--it is nice to have the free time to pursue your interests versus having your time dictated by others).
Tsuki had a pretty chill and relaxing week. She enjoyed plenty of cozy cat naps, her typical antics and shenanigans, playing with her various toys, watching the animals from the porch, lurking in doorways, keeping an eye on people, and just being her typical goofy self. Tsuki always keeps things interesting.

Remember to be gentle with yourself. You're doing the best you can with where you're currently at and with what you currently know. It's all anyone can do. Yes, it's important to push yourself to learn, grow, and improve, but be mindful of how hard you're pushing. Sometimes, we can push too hard too fast, and it can blow up in our faces. While it's true that there's never truly a "perfect" time to do something, it's okay to go at your own pace. If you need to take things a bit slow for now, that's valid. There will be growing pains with improvement, but that doesn't mean they should be unbearable or so draining that you can't do anything else. Balance rest and action. If you've been going hard and need a break, that's completely valid. Replenish your energy so you have more to give back into the world; as they say, you cannot fill others' cups if your own cup is empty. You matter, so please take care of yourself. You're capable of great things, so believe in yourself and support yourself. You've got this! Have a wonderful rest of your week!
